Cantinho Dos Petiscos - Nazare

Food was very good. Friendly staff. Worth a visit.

The waiters were gentle, but the food was really bad. I can't believe that Tripadvisor can rates so high such kind of restaurants.

We ate the worst rice and octopus ever. They didn't serve us four plates we ordered. (very luckily).

We stopped at the beautiful town of Nazare while driving from Lisbon to Porto. I really wanted some more grilled sardines (when in Rome) and we found Cantinho dos Petiscos and it looked good. I ordered sardines and Toni ordered a butterflied fish (can't remember what type). Both came with boiled potatoes and a tomato salad. Food was excellent and really reasonably priced.

A quick lunch here was very well cooked. We had the fish stew and it was a generous collection of small pieces as well as large sections of fish. All on a bed of thickly sliced potato and tasty sauce. The owners are proud of their cooking and provide locals and tourists with excellent food.
