Carrie's Southern Country Kitchen

For our jubilee we wanted a escape route to separate from our normal routine. Lillian Farms was the perfect choice! It is far enough to feel in the country as if you are really out of town with its quiet and great hunger for us city dwellers, but close to Brenham and Washington on the Brazos to do some fun activities as well. We were in the Southern Delight hut and it was so cozy. A perfect place for us to relax, cook, enjoy the veranda, deck, fireplace and hot tub. Everything was clean and the kitchen had all the necessary equipment to prepare large meals, just stop by the foods on the way in! When our fire pit ran out of propane, it was a simple call to the real estate staff and it was immediately fixed. We really enjoyed the area of Lillian farms with the lake, wild flowers and donkeys. The donkey even gave us a farewell when we went out. That was a great place and we will definitely return! Thanks Lillian Farms!

If you really want to get away for a secluded, private weekend, their cabins are the way to go! We were in the Southern Dreams hut, surrounded by trees. For our house we had queen size bed, full kitchen, outside barbecue and hot tub on the deck. Decor is picturesque and charming nothing modern here comfortable and cozy. At night we even heard coyotes! If you are planning to stay in a cottage instead of the main bed and breakfast, here are a few things to note: the next HEB is 20 minutes away so if you are on weekends, stop first for food. Bring your own shower soap, shampoo, etc. (what they offer is very minimal), and a Wi-Fi hotspot. If you often want to use the hot tub, you can even bring some additional pool towels (they offer two small). Also note: If you visit Brenham's historic city centre during your weekend stay, go Friday and Saturday – on Sunday everything is closed).

Idyllic terrain, best walks, friendly farm animals. Barbara and the staff are beautiful! Use the ride for open sky and fresh air. Best Accommodation in Brenham!

We have Little Kassie's Rose Cottage for our 23. Wedding anniversary booked and this was the perfect place for our short vacation. The property is absolutely beautiful and spacious. We had a great day at the lake and we all caught a fish or two. The cottage is back from the main house with lots of privacy and was very comfortable. Maybe the brightest point in our stay was meeting with Barbara, Kevin and Tyler. They are very welcoming hosts and a pleasure to talk to them. We will definitely go back to this little slice of heaven on earth.

Can not say enough about this 250 acre venue. We enjoyed a our stay. Spend the day. Fishing, trails for your bicycles and great conversations with other guests. Employees were fantastic. We are planning another weekend.
