Having been given a quick tour of the hotel and it’s facilities, I was then walked to my room (another wonderful, personal touch), shown its amenities and left to unwind.I arrived rather late in the evening and, even then, nothing was too much, being offered food, despite the kitchen being closed. Upon waking the next morning, breakfast was out of this world a traditional Irish affair, with a modern twist, including homemade ketchup which was delicious; it was more than obvious that the care, attention and quality of ingredients was second to none. An abundance of fruit, cereals and soft drinks was also available, although I cut straight to the chase. On another morning, having woken particularly late, I thought I’d go out into the town to grab a bite to eat, but it was insisted upon that breakfast was prepared for me at the hotel. I opted for a bacon sandwich, which was quite possibly the most wonderful I’d ever tasted. It came accompanied by soft drinks and even a newspaper of my choice. The room itself was understated luxury, spotlessly clean, extremely comfortable, and extremely quiet. You could’ve heard a pin drop. Staff could not have been more helpful throughout my stay and went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. This is a hidden gem in County Meath and one which I’ll be sure to visit again. A glorious stay, with an amiable proprietor who couldn’t do more. Such a great experience. Thank you.
A completely different and unique experience, the only possibility as I could describe it is like a home away from home, liz and their personal are all really nice friendly, they go beyond and beyond to help! a very relaxing atmosphere that makes it very cozy and cozy! a great thank you for the beautiful refreshing experience of joanne and I
