Ardboyne - Navan

We returned to this hotel after our first meeting the community 3 years ago and we were delighted. although the hotel is renovated, this did not interfere our day at all. we had beautiful photos in the beautiful gardens. our meal was just delicious. joanne and all the staff in the service took care of us. they even left a card for our daughters, who was signed by the bar of the chocolate staff, which we considered to be a nice one. there was a nice relaxed atmosphere that made such a difference to our guests who also had small children with them. can wait to see how the hotel looks when completely renovated. we will definitely return.

We returned to this hotel following our first communion gathering 3yrs ago and we were delighted. Although hotel is being refurbished, this did not interfere with our day at all. We had lovely photos taken in the beautiful gardens. Our meal was just delicious. Joanne and all staff on duty took great care of us. They even left a card for our daughter signed by all staff bar of chocolate which we thoight was lovely touch. There was a lovely relaxed atmosphere which made such a difference to our guests who also had small children with them. Cant wait to see how hotel looks when fully refurbished. We will definitely be returning.....

Had breakfast here very good toast grapefruit coffee sausage good value for € 8.50. Friendly staff.

I have travelled from the US to Ireland as my father was taken very ill. After being at the hospital for several days, we were advised it could be several more days before any change, so we decided to grab some food before returning to his bedside. The Ardboyne is near the hospital so we went there and ordered a meal for five people. Just before the meal was to be served we received a call to return urgently to the hospital. Sadly, my dad passed away while we were returning. The point of this review is that we had to very quickly explain to the staff what was happening and why we had to leave, meal uneaten. They didn’t hesitate, but just told us not to worry, and they didn’t make any attempt to charge us for the meal, which must have been nearly cooked at the time. That showed great sensitivity and understanding and will be forever remembered. I will return and ensure we have a full meal there soon.
