Przekaż informację zwrotnąWe recently stayed for one night and dined at the Michelin-starred Gourmet Restaurant. While we appreciated the well-furnished room, its size, cleanliness, and the quality of breakfast, our experience at the restaurant left us a bit underwhelmed. We acknowledge the challenges faced by top-tier culinary establishments in terms of personnel and ingredient costs. Our disappointment primarily revolved around the 4-course menu with an additional cheese and wine accompaniment. The starters and main courses were commendable, but we felt the absence of a sommelier to guide us through the wine selection. Minimal explanation was provided, and there was no upfront choice that catered to our taste preferences. Despite having had better experiences elsewhere, we found this aspect somewhat acceptable. The letdown intensified during the cheese course. Instead of a diverse selection presented on a cheese trolley, we were served a pre-prepared cheese plate with small portions and a seemingly basic and occasionally bland assortment. Additionally, there was no dessert; we did not get any dessert, merely a plate with four biscuits. Interestingly, these biscuits are commonly served with coffee at the end of a meal in other restaurants without incurring any additional fees. Given the substantial cost of approximately €500 for two people, our experience at this Michelin-starred restaurant falls short of what we expected. While certain aspects were enjoyable, the overall dining experience did not live up to the reputation one would associate with a restaurant of this caliber. Before this review we sent an email to the establishment 3 days ago, explaining our feelings about the experience, but up until now, we did not get any reaction. Edit: We hope that, after analysing the answer of the establishment that everyone is able to make up his mind about their mindset and customer centricity. To make things clear: 1. we did, right from the primary order say we wanted the cheese plate 2. we did NOT get any desert (if the aformentioned biscuits were served with the coffee), 3. we were not informed about any aspect of their meager cheese plate, 4. we were not introduced to the chefs wife, 5. we were mainly served by a young lady server, 6. this was a gift for my wife's birthday, I would not start aguing live during dinner, and their reaction confirms that this would not have made any sense anyways.
Very interesting, almost exclusively regional star cuisine, which is offered here at fair prices!
Anlässlich eines Familienfestes war ich das erste Mal hier. Die Zimmer kann ich nicht beurteilen, möchte dies aber nachholen. Das Gebäude ist ein Kleinod, idyllisch gelegen mitten in der Natur. Die Speisen sind hervorragend, sehr schön angerichtet und geschmacklich ausgezeichnet. Der Service ist exzellent und sehr aufmerksam, die Gastgeber sind hervorragend. Ich komme gerne wieder! Harald Rüssel today showed us less from his regional side, a modern and internationally oriented kitchen with cleverly thoughtful compositions and sometimes surprising elements. It was handmade and expensive anyway, so I don't know what to say here.
