Saalhäuser Weinstuben - Naumburg

Therefore, a small approach is recommended: In Bad Kösen, at the level of the Sparkasse Burgenlandkreis, leave Naumburger Straße and turn into Friedrich-Ebert-Straße. Via Schmettaustraße you can reach the Saalstraße (directly on the Saale) where you can bend. You can drive it to the outskirts of the village and then to the street “Saalberge”, which leads directly to the monastery of Pforta. In the restaurant is a large parking lot (also for buses), but then you have to climb to the restaurant some steps. The entrance is unfortunately not accessible. Of course, well-padded chair cushions are ready, the tables are decorated with fresh flowers. Our dinner As indicated at the beginning, we had already set ourselves on Burgundy roasts and pork fillet the day before. Our desire to change the vegetables was also fulfilled immediately. All day we were looking forward to the evening. The service partner exceeded our expectations. Both in terms of quality, very delicate burgundy roast, perfectly grilled pork fillet and the optimal amount. Although I must confess that as a starving cyclist with the 4 slices of the most delicious burgundy roast had so much trouble. The additions also convinced 100% in addition to the optics we appeal. Then the perfect tempered wine (but we expected this). One more word to operate The day before the missing visitor was still time for a loose chat. The next day the restaurant was well visited. I've eaten so well in an attractive ambience. At this point I would like to extend my unrestricted recommendation to a “must if you live in the area”. Wir radeln unterhalb der Weinberge von Bad Kösen in Richtung Naumburg und entscheiden uns, am Kloster Pforta einzukehren. Wir genießen einen köstlichen „Weiße Cuvée – trocken“ und sind die einzigen Gäste. Die Anfahrt zu den Saalhäuser Weinstuben gestaltet sich etwas schwierig, aber die Speisekarte mit verschiedenen Gerichten und passenden Weinen überzeugt. Das Ambiente ist ansprechend, besonders auf der Terrasse mit Blick auf die Saale. Unser Abendessen mit Burgunderbraten und Schweinefilet übertrifft unsere Erwartungen, ebenso wie die perfekte Bedienung. Selten haben wir in einem so tollen Ambiente gegessen und können einen Besuch hier nur empfehlen.
