Rhodos-Palast - Naumburg (Saale)

Came here with my mother when she absolutely loves this place. Of course I was drawn to her so beloved Greek restaurant and was not disappointed. When we came in, it was empty, which we did not take as a bad sign, as the restaurant was just opened for the service. Once shown at the table, we ordered our drinks and got a few ouzos with which, I thought, was a nice little touch. We ordered some garlic bread (which was a little soggy) and to begin tzaziki, with which a meal could already have been in itself, as you can crumb a free house of salad and bread together with it. When our main courses arrived, I was rather taken back from the portions they serve. They were on the larger size to say the least. Of course, the starters were completely unnecessary. Also with our most important courses we received a shot of Ouzo, which we fortunately accepted. My mother was as happy as ever with her gros and chips, but my Calamari was slightly undercut what I did not mention, as it was still a delicacies. My personal highlight was the sweet red wine they served. It was wonderful and must order this from somewhere home. When we finished our meal, there was no surprise that the restaurant filled while we were busy chatting. All in all wonderful little restaurant with attentive and friendly service.

A very cozy Greek restaurant The Rodos Palace is just a minute from the marketplace. It is located in a very old place called by the ceiling beams that support the construction. It is very secret inside, the menu was pure Greek, the service is welcoming. The food was just good. We would break in the city against us once. Recommended!

We were always regular guests, but after the owner has changed and thus the entire staff, unfortunately you don't feel as comfortable as before. The staff was unfriendly and barely with us at the table. The lack of food came only on demand and drinks could not be ordered. Even the food does not taste as good as before. Very bad.
