Valerio's Bake Shop - National

I tried their Chicken Empanada, and while it was good, I would suggest reducing the sugar to make it less sweet. I visited on November 3, 2023, around 2:30 PM. The service from the woman at the counter was excellent; she was quick and friendly. Next time, I'll be sure to ask for her name since great customer service is crucial for bringing customers back. It cost me $12 in gas for the round trip to National City, but it's definitely worth it for the good customer service and delicious empanadas.

I was craving some baked goods and I'm so glad I decided to stop by! I picked up a nice variety and took them to a party, where everyone loved them! Everything I tried was quite good—not the absolute best I've ever had, but still very enjoyable. I plan to sample their hot foods next time!

The variety of food and the quality of service are exceptional! Every day features fresh and abundant options. The bakery's freshness is unmatched.

Good delicious bread! Small bakery but very busy. I've only gone in the mornings and even then at 7am there are usually 4-6 people already waiting. So go early.

Delicious cakes and malasada donuts good for coffee.
