Outback Steakhouse - National City

This place had a good atmosphere. First time being here so I wasn't sure what to expect. The wait time was 15 minutes on a busy night which wasn't bad. There menu wasn't very good in my opinion, unless you just like steak and baked potatoes. They have a bar with TWO TVS in the whole restaurant, the place is clean, and the customer service was there. Our waiter seemed like he was having a rough night, but he tried, which I appreciate. Oh it's okay if you don't dress up for this place, people typically don't. I wouldn't recommend this place because of the food. Hope this helps, thank you.

10.02.19 This is a good restaurant. We went to lunch here on a gift card that I got for Father's day . The food was good quality, the service was a little slow.. but not too bad, I head a stake with a backed pastor, nice and loaded. extra bacon bits extra sour cream extra butter, it was good. To stay within budget I did a $10 meal including a drink, (walk around Wednesday) now you can't expect too much, the steak was only a 5 oz steak so it was pretty small. I asked for it to be cooked at medium but it came in medium well, I assume it's harder to cook a small piece of meat. Now because I had lunch little one with me I also ordered Max and cheese . Not a bad restaurant at all. If in the area give them a try. I'm including menu pictures.

The bread they give to you while you wait and socialize is good. Steak and sides are good as well.

We had a whole tent outside , with a heater blowing in , very nice , our server was very attentive and patient, we celebrated our mom's 90th birthday. It was most wonderful .
