Mi Tierra Super Taco - National City

The corn tortillas are handmade daily, thick enough to hold the juicy meat and fillings without falling apart. However, the tortilla chips are pre-purchased and kept frozen before frying. As for the meats, the cabeza was particularly tender with a bold texture. It paired well with the sauces offered, but on its own, it could benefit from a bit of salt or seasoning for added flavor. Adding cilantro provided a nice touch as well.

Everything about this order was fantastic, from the fish tacos to the horchata. The flour tortillas are massive, but I personally think the corn ones are even better—thick and authentic. You can't go wrong with either option. The portions are large, the prices are reasonable, and the service is quick.

My companion and I just enjoyed an incredible barbacoa burrito! The kids had the birria de chivo and carne asada fries, and everything was delicious. The staff were fantastic as well. We'll definitely be making the extra trip here from now on!

The chilaquiles are my favourites! Almost 2 times in the month I arrive at the weekend tomorrow and get my chilaquiles! I have very good memories of this place and I love to come back here and the food is delicious!

While visiting a friend in San Diego, suggested this restaurant for authentic Birria tacos with chivo (goat meat) We all got the 2 taco plates which were served with homemade rice beans. Jarrito soda, jamaica juice, horchata to wash this amazing meal down. They practice social distancing and you may dine in or take out. Tables are limited due to restrictions. Place is clean and the service was good. Coming back here when we are in town.
