Natick Service Plaza Eastbound

Half the restaurants closed on a busy Friday afternoon? Disappointing. Only McDonalds and a Grilled Cheese place were open, plus a small overpriced convenience store limited food options.The grilled cheese I opted for was good, though that's a note for another review.Any port in a storm, though, when you're on the highway and need to use a bathroom. About what you would expect for public restrooms these days not clean but not particularly dirty either (at least on the day I was there).

Stopped by on a Sunday around 6:30pm. Place was empty. The gas station convenience store was open with some good snack options. McDonald’s was open but the food was stale and old like it was sitting there for hours. The cheesy street grill was open as well, everything else closed. They had vending machines and massage chairs. Plenty of parking. Plenty of gas pumps available. There was also a Dunkin’ Donuts in the parking lot that was a drive thru. And drive thru McDonald’s.

Hey they have big bathrooms and gas, not great food options but ...it's a highway rest stop. Also be warned the MA toll readers don't always work. My NY EZ Pass was read on the way to Boston but not on the way back west. So I get a bill in the mail and have to pay an extra charge . ..:

Awesome expensive gas on a paid toll road. Luckily I was able to drink away my sorrows with a $4 redbull and $14 bag of Beef Jerkey.

The restrooms and dining tables are clean, and there is a good variety of food options. The interior is tidy and well-maintained.
