It was a pleasant surprise to find a restaurant that wasn't a diner or seafood joint along this long stretch of small towns. The service was quick and friendly, and our order arrived promptly. The food was hearty and satisfying. While there wasn't anything particularly unique about the menu, the prices were reasonable and the portions were generous.
Finally made it to this restaurant on Valentine's Day after several attempts, and we're so glad we did! Our server Amanda welcomed us warmly and made us feel like regulars right away. The linguini with mussels was fantastic, filled with plenty of fresh shells. The meat lasagna had a homemade taste that reminded me of my grandmother's recipe, especially the sauce. I’m giving this place five stars based on my expectations. It’s not a fancy, upscale restaurant, but rather a cozy and comfortable Italian spot, just as I had hoped. We’ll definitely be back on our next trip to the Ostufer!
The food is outstanding and the service is incredibly friendly. It's a must-visit when you're in Virginia!
