Fi'lia At Baha Mar - Nassau

I really want to like this place. It is a nice atmosphere to dine, and the food was good but not great for the cost. I had read reviews just like you are doing, and I thought some were being way to picky. There were of us and we all felt the same way. It's good, probably like an Olive Garden, but what you pay one would expect outstanding food and flavors. Nope. And it is true, they charge you for water plus the VAT and auto gratuity. Go to Stix or Pizza Lab, both are better values (although expensive too), better food, and they don't charge for water

Restaurant was not even open and it allowed us to make a reservation. Unbelievable.

Beautiful restaurant with fabulous service and delicious food. We started with the caprese salad and carpaccio, then on to the cacio e pepe, truffle fries and finally the bistecca. All very nice and large portions!

Overall there are MUCH better restaurants at BahaMar. This was the only reservation left at BahaMar the night we dined here. I understand why. The ambience was nice and the service was great. The food was not good. The pizza was frankly terrible with no taste and the pastas were bland and boring. They served the burrata as a huge chunk of cheese with nothing to eat it with (bread or toast or something). The meatballs were tasty. I am not dinging them for the astronomical prices as that is the same at every restaurant there.
