The Southern Steak Oyster

Date night with the wife. Great atmosphere and the food was very good.

Great place. Wait staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive.

We had blue tip oysters, Belle Steak and bone in Pork chop. And a bottle of wine.

Wow! Southern Steakhouse is a must-try. The gumbo was absolutely fantastic, bursting with flavor. As someone who gets warm easily, I was so grateful when our server, Hannah, went above and beyond to keep me comfortable. She brought me a cold towel to cool my neck, a thoughtful gesture that made all the difference. The hamburger was also excellent, cooked to perfection and served with all the fixings. And to top it off, Hannah surprised us with some ice cream to further cool me down. Talk about exceptional service! Hannah's attentiveness and genuine care truly made our dining experience memorable. If you're looking for delicious food and outstanding service, Southern Steakhouse is the place to go. Ask for Hannah – you won't be disappointed!

The Southern Steak Oyster is the premiere oyster bar in the Davidson County area. Everything we experienced here was above and beyond my expectations. You'll be hard pressed to find a better place to eat in Nashville. Derick, Karen, and Andrea took such good care of us, you'd have thought we were family! The drinks were excellent, but the food surpasses all expectations. Everything I tried was fantastic. Every little thing about this restaurant, from the bar, to the atmosphere and decor are top notch. You can really feel very relaxed here, even if they're busy. If there's anywhere that's a must visit restaurant in Nashville, this is it.
