About as authentic as you can get! They are a cafeteria-style place with southern food. I am a Californian who barely eats meat but they were very kind and gave me a little sampler so I could try stuff. I got the roasted chicken- yum! Get their spicy BBQ sauce that they hip up themselves! I was full for about two days but it was super good
This is a chef by trade with a truck that you could easily look in and see that it is sanitary. The catfish is fresh and delicious. All gluten free.Dietary restrictions: Everything is gluten free.
Love coming here. The best beef bbq in town. The owner slices the meat himself and offers great interaction with the customer while you are in line (that is half the show.....but as good as the food. Monday and Tuesday is 'go through the line 2x days ' and you get double value. But you really cannot eat that much as the portions are so huge to begin with. Love coming here. Mixes businessmen in 3 piece suits with construction works. A real workers environment.
