I stand in solidarity with Slowdown 4 Slowdown, wishing for the owners to engage in negotiations that will enable them to better support their workers and find a positive path forward together.

I used to give this coffee shop a 5-star rating because it's easily my favorite in Nashville. However, I've recently changed my mind. They really need to pay their baristas a livable wage. A company that doesn't value its employees doesn't deserve my patronage until that improves.

I've been visiting this restaurant for about two years and have consistently had fantastic experiences with the staff. However, I've decided not to return until they receive a living wage—these baristas deserve better, especially in today's economy.

Folks deserve a livable wage. Your employees are asking for the BARE MINIMUM to survive in Nashville. Stop cancelling meetings with your employees, the folks who RUN YOUR BUSINESS. Opening a dialogue is literally THE LEAST you can do.
