Sal's Pizza & Restaurant, - Nashville

We were out by Percy Priest dam just looking around and just stopped here on a drivebyWow, probably the best pizza I have had here in Nashville.

As a 4 member family with hungry tummies we hit this place up around 1 pm on a Saturday. There was a sign written in marker or chalk about a cheap lunch

The food is decent but not greatI come here because it is close to homeThe service is adequateThe wair is horrendous.

Stumbled on this place by accident while traveling. Checked the ratings after I was seated. Mixed, so it could go either way. Almost went for the white pizza, which looked like a really good combination, but instead opted for the Gnocchi. I can't recall ever having that dish before. My first impression when it was delivered was good. Nice presentation. I really liked the sauce, too bad I didn't get it on a pizza or calzone. I had them add grilled chicken and would have liked 50% more for the extra money, but the flavor was good. Overall I would eat here again and order the Gnocchi again as well.
