La Hacienda - Nashville

This review is based on our summer visit to the restaurant. The staff was extremely friendly and the food was consistently delicious. One unique aspect is that they offer steamed vegetables, which we had not seen at a Mexican restaurant before. So if you're looking to add a little bit of health to your meal, this is the place to go.

The restaurant was not very busy around 6:00 in the evening on a weeknight, so we were seated immediately for dinner. The waitress was very friendly and efficient, and she was actually quite funny considering that no one at our table was fluent in Spanish and we had difficulty describing a few dishes. The server who brought our food made sure to announce each dish loudly and dramatically. Despite this being part of the experience, we couldn't help but laugh at my companion who couldn't even order without pointing to the menu. Our dishes were much larger than we expected, but everything was incredibly delicious. We ordered chicken nachos that could have fed a small family, a traditional Mexican shrimp cocktail served in a huge margarita glass, a combination plate with a taco and enchilada that took up the entire plate, and the aroz con pollo, which was covered in cheese sauce and served with rice and fresh tortillas. We highly recommend this traditional restaurant on the east side of Nashville for a quick dinner, especially if you are staying at the Elm Hill resort.

The service is quick and the food is delicious! Whether we dine in or order through DoorDash, it always tastes amazing and our orders are always correct.

Stops here because it is near my apartment and loved it! the margaritas are and you eat is cooked to perfection. definitely recommend checking this place for a good Mexican meal.

Food was good but the margaritas were great...i asked for a special margarita and they made it. I will be returning
