Drive thru windows on both sides of this shack and it doesn't matter which side you go to. There's also a walk up window. Handful of tables out front, but that's it for seating and they aren't really open late (I think till about 9 during the week), though Fri and Sat nights it might be open later. Family owned and operated business and you can order ahead and they'll have your order ready for you. Maybe 3 parking spots in the back and then there's free street parking right there next to the building itself as well. Try the Greek gyro for about 6 bucks or so...it's large, hot, with fresh vegetables and a warm and soft pita. Tough to be a cheap, quality gyro like what they're serving.
King Solomons is the best. Seriously the food is absaloutly delicious, the family that runs it is incredibly kind, and it's cheap for the amount of food you get-what more could you ask for? Y'all are gonna want to check this place out.
No frills middle eastern drive thru. Kong Solomon's delivers on exactly what one would expect from solid takeout. Large portions and fresh food highlight what they do here. The gyro combo was hefty and filled with chopped up gyro meat and all the traditional accompaniments on the sandwich while the fries were well seasoned and super crisp. The two window drive thru system here was a bit strange but we'll make due.
Today was my first time ever trying this place. I usually go to the Chicago Style Gyro place because my office is a mile away. Today I used Yelp and discovered King Solomon's and drove the 4 miles from my office and I'm glad I did. It's way better than Chicago Style Gyro by far. I ordered the chicken plate and everything on my plate was delicious. I would suggest you get there early because by the time I left the line was long. But there's a reason for that.
How this place got 4.5 stars is beyond me. This establishment is a little building with limited seating outside and a drive through concept. It was very confusing because it seems like cars just sit there and moves slowly through the line. We almost got impatient and left. There is also a walk up window where you can order from. When it's finally our turn, she took our order and told us to wait. Then, she took our payment and handed us waters before telling us to drive around to the other side. We waited for about 15-20 mins for our food to be ready. I was really excited for this lunch, but it fell short. The hummus was really watery. The salad was not dressed. The gyro and rice was the only decent part of the meal. Oh and the falafel I ordered tasted like a donut hole. Not sure how that was possible. It was a very disappointing meal for all of us and I will not be back.
