Ichiban - Nashville

Bottom line up front: Great sushi, great ramen, and great serviceI cannot recommend this place more for a very authentic Japanese dining experience.

Great food! We got the chef special which meant we had a seven course meal of whatever the chef wanted to feed usIt was cool.

Two coworkers and I went for lunch and our experience was not too good! We got there at 12 and we're sat quickly and got our drinks quickly.

We live in the Nashville area and go downtown for concerts at Bridgestone, Symphony concerts, and Preds Hockey games. About the only Sushi we have up our way is at the local Kroger. I grew up on Sushi in LA, a Sushi Bar every corner, we love Icheban not because of its location on 2nd Avenue, we love it because it has damn good Sushi. I can't tell you about the menu items, we never order them, but I can tell you the Sushi is always fresh and tastes like it. That's why I give them 5 Stars. Service is great, Saki is great, beer is cold, and the Sushi will not disappoint you.

I have no negatives about this restaurant. Simply put, the service was excellent, the soosh was good, we were given a hot towel to start our meal, felt very authentic. Great WiFi.
