Hermitage House Smorgasbord - Nashville

Best fried chicken I've had in a long time!! Really good peach cobbler as well. Very friendly staff! Food was great with a nice variety. Sunday after church atmosphere.

I come here every time I’m in nashville. I can’t believe it took me so long to discover this gem. Food is great, people are very friendly. The owners work here and they strive to make everyone satisfied (and fat n happy). It’s affordable too and let me tell you it’s worth every nickel snd more.Give them a try; you won’t be sorry.

Forget Golden Corral, if you are looking for some Southern style cooking then Hermitage House Smorgasbord is the place to go! The lunch/dinner buffet bars change everyday (except their fried chicken and fish). The atmosphere gives off your grandma's house feel and the it smells wonderful inside! The staff are really friendly and helpful! I definitely recommend this place!

Kristy is one of the sassiest waitresses I have ever encountered. That’s a compliment. We caught them on a day when they had just catered a major event, and the staff was exhausted. The manager went around to every table and asked every single person if they were doing OK and apologized profusely for the wait on the fried chicken (which is worth the wait). Also enjoyed this random chicken green bean casserole thing that didn’t even have a name.

I love this place. So warm n homey feeling, bn going here since I was younger. Great food n always hot n ready.
