GReKo Greek Street Food - Nashville

I found this place. I drove a few times from this area (to go to Hawkers) and wanted to try Greko. I left this place that was so satisfied because there was no bad feeling. The quality of the ingredients was superior. I ordered the rice bowl with chicken and it also had tomatoes, cucumbers, parsley, rice. They have reserved parking spaces for customers. There is also a beautiful outdoor garden to enjoy your food. In the case of extreme rain; You can also find shaded covered outer surface. You order your food and wait for the table to be served with a license plate. The staff is very friendly. No complaints. I wish they also add chicken kere into the menu as I could not find it since the first week of September? 22. Will go back there!

Every time we're here. Great tasting of meat and fresh salads and vegetables. You should check it for lunch or dinner.

Last visit there was a small fire so the restaurant was closed. I've been trying this place for several months. I stopped for lunch and ordered the Lamb-Pita and Gierko-Straßenfries. The pita together with tomatoes, onions, parsley, peppers and tzatziki had good taste. It must have a very light herbal rub on the lamb and/or it did not have enough time to absorb in the protein, b/c the lamb itself lacked taste, the disappointing b/c I love lamb and expected to smash in the face with great taste. On the other hand, the pommes were crispy and crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside and the mizithra cheese added some pungent and saltiness. Good fries! The Rotisserie chicken looked good. Delicious!! Great prices and quality of food. We ordered the Swordfish salad, chicken salad, Large chicken soup, and the Monastiraki style beef. Portions were huge, and we have enough to take home for the next day. The salad was amazing with crispy garbanzo beans and tossed with lots of flavor. The tea was delicious and wasn?t too sweet as I mixed both the sweet and unsweetened. Highly recommend and will come here again.

This family owned restaurant is a true gem. Homemade Authentic Greek food at its best! Sean, the manager, recommended a few items and I could spot a true foodie and kindred spirit! He did not steer us wrong. We had the opened face beef platter served with a mountain of rice which was incredible! Our grilled octopus appetizer was tender and perfect! But most soul satisfying was their chicken soup with kale. It was simply cooked with rice and lemon to garnish. It was really delicious. Everything was really, really great and the service was really exemplary! This is the kind of place where you want them to be around forever. Definitely a must go to if you?re in Nashville!!
