The best thing on the menu was the roasted beets. The apple salad a close second. The trout was over cooked and overpriced and had a piece of eggplant under it that had sear marks, but was not cooked. The gnocchi was ok, but not great. While we liked the adventure, sometimes continually adding things to a dish does not make it better. A little less could be much more. While the food was lovely to see, it was a struggle to eat literally. We dislike having to fight with the food to eat it. I am sure we will try them again. Maybe in the summer when the patio is open.
Went for Valentine's Day. On top of the food being poor and very small portions, it was expensive. It seems like they are aiming to be a trendy dinner spot but are just way off the mark. Glad we got to try it out, since it is close to us, but will not be back.
We went to Fifty First for Valentine's Day, on a recommendation from a friend. We were seated at a table for two in a cozy corner of the restaurant and treated to a fantastic three-course menu. The appetizers and desserts were amazing. Fifty First helped make a special night even more special.
Great food- so flavorful and unique, so many diverse tastes with every plate. Cozy and romantic- great service. A Real gem
