East Side Banh Mi - Nashville

In researching places to try in Nashville, a YouTube Triple D came up, and East Side Bahn Mi was one of the top spots. It surely did not disappoint. I have been craving a bahn mi for a while now, and if I could have, I would have gone back for a second meal.We got into Nashville around 11 a.m. and made this our first stop off the plane. I ordered the steak bahn mi, and my wife ordered the Gracie's Big Salad. Of course, the bread is a big part of a bahn mi, and this sandwich had just enough bite. The steak was, of course delicious, and each bite had just the right amount of the cucumber and carrot mix with the mayo. My wife kept saying how she needed to try and remake the salad once we got back home.Inside, you order your meal and then sit at a table. The staff was very friendly, and the food arrived quickly. Even though we got there pretty close to when they opened, they were already cranking out orders for dine-in and take-out. If you're a fan of bahn mi's, definitely head here immediately!

I love banh mi but where I live, it practically doesn’t exist! Traveling, this place hit the spot with their veggie bahn mi tofu, eggplant and the usual banh mi veggies. The sandwich had a great smoked essence. The bread, perfectly crisp. I would definitely get again. I would love to see them add lemongrass tofu as an option since they do have lemongrass chicken.

Three of us ate here for lunch. Definately get the pork sandwich! The other 2 with me got bowls and they chowed down. Excellent in every category. Also if you like spicy try the red hot sause! They make it all right here!

I am here in Nashville visiting from Italy. I loved this place! Service was fast, food was incredible and the place displayed a very interesting menu!!Would definitely recommend this place :
