Crying Wolf - Nashville

Definitely a dive bar. Enjoyed the service and convo with the bartender (it was very slow). Drinks were good not great, not a ton of selection.

Wow! Amazing atmosphere and cocktails! Bar tenders were great, polite and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this place for a drink.

Nashville was a pit stop for me. Stayed near by. Walked over to this place just on looks. Super cool dark bar. Was early so only two people there. Girl at the front and the guys at the bar were friendly. Ordered burgers and a beer at the bar. Definitely an Instagramable place with the wolf theme decor. TVs and wolfs above the bar.

Stopped in for an early dinner and a couple of drinks recently. Draft system was completely down. That happens. But the bottle/can beer list is so short you can count it on less that two hands, and that 's including mainstream beers. What was worse, though, was the Chick 'N and Waffles. If you have a dish on the menu called Chick 'N and Waffles, and the chicken is made from seitan (wheat gluten), then don 't call it Chick 'n and Waffles on the menu. Call is seitan and waffles. True, it mentions seitan in the dish description. But If you saw fish and chips on the menu, you 're pretty much going to assume the fish is, well, frigging fish, right? Same here. Chicken and Waffles should. Be. Chicken. And. Waffles.

I have a couple of friends that like this bar. So I've been a couple of times now (always for occasions and day drinking, I've never been at night . This place has the whole let's hipster everything up for the tourists and East Nashvillians who just moved here from California thing going on. Dark, vintage looking wallpaper, fake holes in the walls, reclaimed wood, etc. It's new trying to look old. That alone doesn't bother me it's what Nashville is doing right now. What does bother me? The service SUCKS. The bartenders are always jerks. (Example, I'm pretty sure the bartender swapped my drink and my friend's drink last weekend. When we asked a couple of questions to be sure, he acted like we were idiots and was really rude. We weren't trying to get our drinks comped or give him a hard time the drinks were fine we just wanted to figure it out, but he was really rude about it. The drinks are fine. Cocktails priced about what you would guess for East Nashville (in the double digits, $10 15 , but they also have a lot of beer and wine (PBR on draft for $2, too . So typical drink offerings, no parking, and rude bartenders. Not my favorite spot.
