Saltine - Nashville-Davidson

I absolutely love this restaurant! First of all, the ambiance is beautiful—it's so open and bright! The staff is incredibly friendly; both the bartender and server made me feel right at home and did an amazing job. My server knew the menu inside and out and was very helpful. I started with a glass of her recommended wine and then tried the house red blend, both of which were fantastic! For dinner, I had the seafood pasta, and I can confidently say it was the best I’ve ever had. It was creamy, rich, and packed with flavor. My friend ordered the fish and chips, which were also delicious and beautifully presented! To top it all off, my server suggested we try the cinnamon roll cheesecake. It was truly a game-changer—warm cinnamon roll atop cool, creamy cheesecake, all garnished with pecans. I'm pretty sure I'll never look at dessert the same way again. I can’t wait to come back! Update: I returned for brunch, and it was amazing!

We picked this restaurant for our office New Year's celebration, and it turned out to be a fantastic choice! On Tuesday night, the service was outstanding. The burgers were delicious and generously sized. I ordered the steaks, and I was truly impressed by both their presentation and flavor. Plus, there’s free parking right in front of the building, which is always a great perk when dining in the city. I can't wait to return for the finals; thank you for making our experience unforgettable and remarkable!

The restaurant is beautiful, well-decorated, and spotlessly clean. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Our waitress was excellent and answered all our questions about the menu. A few people in our group had the oysters, while I savored the scallop dish with carrot and a creamy purée. The scallops were cooked to perfection and had a wonderful flavor. This is definitely a must-try restaurant when visiting Nashville!

I really like this restaurant! that was my second trip to saltine. the service was both great. eating is fresh and tasteful and the prices are very reasonable. I had the appetizer afteros, the fried oyster deviled eggs, and the thick speck appetizer and all were great! the nachos were themselves eating and they were delicious! the gumbo had a very light roux, but was thick and delicious! the zioppino was fantastic and full of two big skalopps, 6-8 garnels and two kinds of muscheln. it was made with a bright white wine broth and some toast sourdough soups that were perfect for the soaking of the broth. the price of $27 worth drinking was on site! I am impressed by this fish restaurant. simple, free parking, more spacious dining area, not too loud. I can't wait to go back.

We came in with a large group for our monthly ladies out evening. It was a reserved set up. The restaurant was well prepared for us. Dealing with the individual checks and drink orders were all done great. The food was tasty and service well presented and with solid flavor. Parking lot was packed so parking was a little effort. They also had free hush puppies at happy hour with yelp.
