The food was delicious! He waitstaff/bartenders were great! The trivia was super fun! Clean, open, friendly. Had a great time!
I was at Killarneys with a group Wednesday night. The entertainer Kieran McNally was great and our waitress Lori did an amazing job bringing our food and drinks in a timely manner. Lori is always a wonderful server, even with our large party of 8. I would recommend the potato skins and the Reuben Sandwich, yum!
Cool place. Feels pretty Irish inside. Has a bunch of tvs, lots of draft selections and reasonable prices. I didn't try the food but prices were fair. When we walked in to the hotel it smelled very musty/ old smelling. But dissapeared when we went into the pub. They also have happy hour.
We arrived around 6 PM, and our group of three expanded to four, which made for a fun evening. The pub is conveniently located within the hotel, and the billing options were flexible; we could either charge it to our room or pay with cash or credit card. I opted for a credit card, as my friend's reservation covered the room with points, so I was fine settling my own dinner expense. The atmosphere was laid-back and casual, although it felt a bit more intimate than your typical bar, which was interesting for a slow Monday evening in May 2019. The décor was pleasant and added to the overall vibe. Thankfully, there were no lit candles on the tables, which would have felt awkward. We received our food promptly and finished our meals within an hour before heading up to our rooms to relax for the night. I chose not to order any alcohol this time, which was probably wise given the circumstances. Kilarney's was a great option for travelers like us who preferred not to wander the streets looking for food. Overall, my experience at Kilarney's Irish Pub was enjoyable and average, with a friendly and professional server who helped us with our orders. Initially, the bar was quiet, but a group of loud patrons sat nearby. Fortunately, they left after about 15 minutes, allowing us to fully enjoy our meals and conversations about travel and upcoming marathons. Located at 9 Northeastern Blvd, Kilarney's accepts major credit cards and room charges for hotel guests. The Holiday Inn provides ample parking, and whether you have a rental car or use rideshare services like Uber and Lyft, you shouldn’t have trouble getting around. As for the food, I ordered the BBQ Bacon Cheddar Burger, served with a generous portion of French fries and a Diet Coke. The burger, cooked rare, was moist and juicy—just how I like them. The fries were crispy and delicious, almost reminiscent of an upscale Carl's Jr. burger. I even ordered a second serving of fries to take back to my room for breakfast, saving me from having to shop later that night. If you're staying at the Holiday Inn Suites, I recommend checking out Kilarney's Irish Pub. It’s a great spot, especially for happy hour. My ratings are as follows: 4.0 stars for overall experience, 3.0 stars for pricing, 4.0 stars for friendly service, and 4.0 stars for the food. Definitely worth a visit—support local!
