Visited Burton's for the first time on a Sunday afternoon at the pheasant shopping mall. The place does not offer bread or nothing while waiting for your duck. You actually calculate for a bread appetizer forget that a bread basket is a sign of respect for the restaurant and maximize ticket sales by excluding this courtesy. Whatever. We ordered spinach dip for an appetizer and the tortilla with it was super salty. We also ordered two salads a Cesar and beet salad. Both were brilliant, I really liked the beet salad taste and presentation, but we had to wait a long time before our server realized that they didn't bring us the salads and ran and get them. Overall the experience was sub par. We waited a lot for the service and when we got the check, decided to pay by phone because we are late and could not wait any further. I wouldn't recommend this place if you had other plans. But would give kudos for the kitchen and menu designers for the beet salad. Maybe it'll be Ubereat instead.
This is my favorite restaurant in Nashua. They do not allow wheat flour in the building! This makes people like me who eat gluten-free very happy. I never had a bad meal here. Recommend the hamburgers, the fish Tacos and the crabfish encrusted Schellfisch!
Really good food steak was perfectly cooked and house salad was nice. Service was good.
The house salad was very generous, fresh with a light vinaigrette and sprinkled with blue cheese. Delicious! I had the fried calamari with cherry peppers appetizer as my entree. It came out perfect! Hot, very tender! And perfectly breaded and seasoned. Best I've ever had this dish! My wife ordered the grilled salmon cooked medium rare. Unfortunately it came out more like medium well very firm and somewhat dry. The waitress and manager we're very embarrassed offered to recook the dish. Unfortunately unfortunately we didn't have time to wait for that. They didn't charge for the salmon and gave us a complimentary creme brulee dessert which was also excellent. Definitely will go there again!
