Worth visit. Good food. Service was really nice. It's really hard to find good restaurants. Really nice and I would like to recommend it to other people as well.....
Had visited the place recently during my tour to Nashik. The first thing that catches your attention is the person (dressed in traditional attire) waiting to greet you at the entrance. This is when you get your first experience with the warm hospitality. They greet you with folded hands and apply tilak on your forehead just like in our traditions. This gesture itself gives you a very pleasant feeling of being invited to an amazing feast.<br/ <br/ The staff is very courteous and quick in attending to the guests. In a jiffy all the thalis are set before you.<br/ What struck me was what happens next. They come to your side with a jug of water and a bowl to clean your hands. This, along with being intriguing gives you a feel as if you are in some Royal durbar. (And saves a trip to the basin)<br/ <br/ The food is served quickly, our thali had a variety of subzis suzh as paneer, baigan (eggplant), potato, rajma along with two types of dal and kadhi. You also get starters such as pakodas and dhoklas with were amazing. Then you also have chutneys, raita, pickle, thecha, papad, roti, rice/khichadi and of course halwa and fruit custard in dessert.<br/ <br/ Well, all the subzis were very well made and we enjoyed each of them. The kadhi and Dal (one out of two) being sweet help to balance the spicyness (I'd any). The pakodas and dhokla were good too.<br/ <br/ For me the best part was the fruit custard and I ended up getting my bowl refilled several times !!<br/ <br/ However, one let down was the roti. They serve rotis made of mix of maida and wheat flour. I would only wheat flour rotis rather than the mixed ones.<br/ <br/ Lastly, do try the special paan that they serve. Its not free with the thali so you have to pay for it. But, if you are a sweet paan lover like me, its worth the money!<br/ <br/ I enjoyed my visit to the place and would definitely be coming back to indulge in their yummy thali when I am in the city again.
