Immediately after entering you will realise there's not much German going on in there walls are covered with pictures of boxers (not German) and there's not a single German beer in the menu. I tried hard to see any connection and found a Paulaner banner on the wall. That's German. So this one is hard to rate if it wasn't called what it's called I would rate it 4 out of 5 as there's very extensive menu (not tried), different local beers and quite OK dated interior. For Narva. But please, change the name of the pub and stop confusion tourists like myself. But hey this is Narva so normal logic quite often doesn't apply as I've learnt.
Don 't be confused. It has nothing to do with germanic cuisine. It 's a guys name actually German
Moldy smell, Russian language only. Food wasn't as great as I expected from other reviews. Really dated. No one was there except us, and it still wasn't great. Severely disappointed. Bathroom was rough. But on the plus side, tried Salo for the first time, but didn't like it.
We ordered take away for dinner, and the meal snitsel 10 € and fried potatoes 3 € looked like this. In my opinion it was very small meal and not worth the 13 euros. Taste was ok, nothing special. But well it was eaten by someone from germany, who likes to eat this often, so basically the review was compared to what kind on snitsel you get in Germany.
Great place to visit. Prices are ok and food is tasty. Staff is friendly and helpful as well. Regarding the menu, I 've ordered: Pork chop Spanish style 7,50 ЕUR Fried potatoes with vegetables 2,50 EUR, Pork in a rural way Fried pork with a rural potato, a cranberry and fresh vegetables 10,0 EUR, Chicken nuggets with potatoes 5,00 EUR
