Nice local eating place. Open early. Came here and shared a table with locals for breakfast. I had soy sauce udon, fried fish and potato cake. Yummy!!
Was there for breakfast. Oh....one of best udon I had in Japan. The noodle was chewy and the broth was tasty. Run by an old couple and all the fried tempura were laid on the side for you to take freely. They speck zero English, so you have to know a word or two japanese. Pay after the meals, the lady trusted you on what you took from the side dish counter. very nice people indeed. Wish this lovely couple a long and healthy life....
Super friendly ladies staff at a local udon spot. Very simple but probably one of the best udons I've had! You can tell the udon is handmade. The options for toppings appear to be quite limited though, compared with the other udon spots I've been. It might be difficult for non Japanese speakers to order food though, referencing photos from reviews could be one solution! :
