It is an excellent snack bar, with huge portions and they have a restaurant part on the beach side. It is not at all glamorous, BUT the food is good value for money (especially if you are hungry). What I love about this place (and I 've been going for many years) is the warm welcome from Paulette. It 's like visiting your favorite auntie. She does all the service and hustles and bustles about, always with a smile and a feeling that she is in charge you are always in good hands. The drinks are expensive 5 euros for a soft drink, but quite honestly, that has never stopped me from going I have wine instead! Better to get a bottle for 18 euros than half for 12, but either way, it usually works out about 25 per person altogether. The kids menu is also very generous indeed, and looks appetizing my friend 's son had a lovely burger in a bun with plenty of fries. Not the cheap insipid beige nuggets on offer in most places. Also, if you dont mind eating take away style, it is cheaper and you can still sit to the side of the kiosk. I really like the simplicity of the place and lack of trendiness. I 'm sick of all the beach bars in the area, where you never feel particularly welcome (unless you 're a relation of the mayor or something).
Fantastic service, ok so there are no loos they don't except cards, but for all it lacks this is made up by the superb team of Paulette and Pierrot. If you want service with proper plates then you pay a little bit extra, however the views and dedication from Paulette and Pierrot are the same on the snack side for less money. This season they had a grumpy waiter on the restaurant side, but normally you get Paulette who is excellent and never forgets. You do not leave hungry. A super spot on a beautiful beach. Merci Paulette!
Good honest cafe on the beach, massive portions and double burgers hope you 've got a big appetite sonny ! Paninis great, chips, tomato and mozzarella if you feel healthy. Good service and cold beer. In case you wondered Pain American is two burgers with salad inside a French stick with chips on top ! As you can appreciate fine dining it ain 't , but a cheap eat when hungry it fits the bill.
Pleasant but remains fast the lack of comfort prices increases every year. regrettable.
You'd have to describe Chez Pierrot as quirky. It seems to be run by a couple and Madame is in charge of service, which seems to be fairly slow if they're busy. The portions are very large and the place is good for meat eaters. Good moules frites as well. The drink prices are eye-watering though, 2€ for a coffee, 3€ for a beer or a glass of wine and expensive soft drinks.
