We came to marius for the music party. The place is really charming and the map of the tapas is varied. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed by the amount served in the price. Anchovies and duck hearts are served in very small quantities... damage, we were not tourists, but here I think we will not return.

Read the reviews but ended up picking here primarily down to the fact that it was 10 metres from our AirBnb after a long day of sightseeing. Well, all I can say is Wow, were we glad we decided to be lazy. Service was top class: attentive without being overbearing. But the food? Each dish was superb. The menu is kinda designed to share so myself and my wife chose 5 dishes between us, which was a bit greedy but so worth it.as they were all incredible. Any time I see ceviche on a menu I go for it and this was delicious. The beetroot humous was so good, but perhaps could have benefited from more pickled fruit (onion and radish). The duck cannelloni was bursting with rich flavours, and being Irish, we added two potato dishes: the croquettes with ham were amongst the best I have ever had but the Patatas de Marius, their take on patatas bravas, were nothing short of magnificent, shot through with prosciutto and a ridiculously good sauce. Even the kids menu of chicken and chips was cooked with love and aeons ahead of the usual stuff handed to our smallies. The desserts were also fabulous we tried a few with the cafe gourmand (tiramisu, brownie and creme brulee), and the best coffee we had in Narbonne. A meal that single handedly restored my faith in French restaurants. Bravo
