Deception Bay Tavern - Narangba

Hubby's steak was almost raw. Didn't accept valid shopper docket,lobster bland and prices a bit too expensive for pub food.

I went for a drink here a while back, there is a nice collection of liquor and good service. The variety and service plus availability of dining, and pokies, makes it a good spot. They have some good seating arrangements also. It is within good reach as its within the centre vicinity and makes it easy for visitors who may have mobility issues. Being a vegetarian, there are some options however I will be going for a meal in the next couple of weeks so will write more then.

Pub atmosphere, the usual. Dont order steak, been here twice ordered a t-bone it tasted good but was 1 cm thinnest Ive ever seen, quite grisly. Second time ordered an eye fillet, so undercooked, and it was the very end piece, slightly pointed on one side. ANYONE knows you just dont sell the first piece, its grisly and small. Whats the point of pretending the customer is getting a deal when they are not? The mash was fresh yesterday and wasnt finishing being mashed. I should have ordered the seafood extravaganza, THAT looked good. Im not sure a 22$ meal at a pub (with coupon) is such a great deal...when you can get 2 courses for 2 at 39$ on scoopon in better restaurants, where there arent any drunk bogans or children screaming in the playpen.

Best pub meal I have had in years!!! Friendly staff would recommend to anyone!!! We had the seafood sensation!! What a meal for the price!!

Place was full of 'Undesirable' people. I could not feed my Grandchildren there, too many 'Rough' people for them to be comfortable.
