Back home in Naples after a long time, I could only go back to one of the best Mexican restaurants in Naples and the surrounding area. The staff as always suggests the best things and the best way to eat them. The homemade Sangria is the icing on the cake. Good products and the strategic position allows you to visit some areas of the nightlife as well as the promenade. I recommend it to everyone especially as an alternative to the usual pasta and pizza!
We visited this place for dinner recently during our trip to Naples. It was a bit of a walk from our hotel, but it was worth it. The music and atmosphere of this place was amazing. The food and service was also good. Overall, we had a nice time at this place.
Went last night, the place its cute, the service was good and fast but, the food was horrible. The menu was confusing due to the dishes they have that are no even mexican. I order tacos and quesadilla and what a disaster, the chicken was soak in a tomatoes sauce, disgusting, the chips were from the grocery store, NOTHING was mexican, except the Corona's. I do not recommen this restaurant to people that knows about real mexican food.
When it was suggested that we go out for Mexican while in Naples, I wasn't expecting much. I was pleasantly surprised. We were given a plate of chips and salsa to start with, and our margharitas were brought promptly. It wasn't the best margharita, but it was still decent. The tables are very large, so you can easily sit a large group. We ordered plates of tacos, quesadillas, and cheese/jalapenos. My quesadilla was hot and spicy, which was perfect. The tortilla wasn't soggy despite the sauce. It also came with a small side of rice and lettuce, which wasn't even written in the menu. My two friends enjoyed their tacos, while the fourth member of our party didn't find his plate of melted cheese and jalapenos spicy enough. Overall, it was a good experience, as everyone cleaned their plate and left happy. Sure, it's not the best Mexican I've ever had, but considering it's a Mexican Restaurant in the middle of Naples, Italy, it was very good, and a freshing change if you're getting bored of pasta. I definitely recommend it if you're in the mood for something spicy.
When we walked in, I really thought we'd have some good Mexican food. The decor and music are actually relatively authentic. We sat down, ordered coronas and were all smiles... until the food came. We weren't expecting the food to be fantastic, I mean, how good can Mexican food in Italy be, right? But this was the worst food I've eaten...EVER, seriously. Ketchup and hot sauce to pass as salsa?! That's just the start of it. I could keep going, but I'll slow down. If you absolutely HAVE to go there, do yourself a favor and stick to Dos Equis... oh, better bring your own limes too.
