The French - Naples

All too often I find myself disappointed in our establishments around town.

We love Bar Tulia and after reading positive reviews for The French (which is a concept of the same team), we chose to give it a try for a special occasion.

A really enjoyable dining experience for the whole family.

Crab dip was below average but steamed prawns were great. The server never cleared the table before bringing more food out. Then the runner looked confused when I asked them to remove the dirty plates first. My husband noticed that the building was under negative air pressure caused by the hood of the kitchen hood (sucked in doors of the kitchen parlor) which caused hot, humid outside air to pour into the restaurant when the outside doors opened. Sit away from the doors if you want air conditioning. Outdoor seating looked nice and led to a long pier on the water.

Great staff, friendly, quick service, great location, drinks were spot on
