When I made the reservation, I was informed about their specials and was really looking forward to dining here. Our server, who turned out to be the manager/owner, was dismissive when we inquired about the half-price drinks and the buy one, get one free entrees – he rolled his eyes and confirmed the specials. However, when we received the bill, we were surprised to see we were charged full price. When I brought it to his attention, he simply left the check and returned only after a while. When I asked him to apply the discounts so we could settle the bill, he insisted on taking our credit cards and claimed he would apply the discount later. This felt very shady to me. I questioned how we’d know the correct amount to pay, and he responded sarcastically, asking if we needed separate checks. Then I requested to speak with a manager, only to find out that it was him. He spoke condescendingly to us and flatly stated he wouldn’t give us the discount; we had to pay the full amount and leave. I refused to be treated this way or be bullied into payment, so I calculated the discount, added the sales tax, and used a coupon we had. As we left, he chased us into the parking lot, yelling and threatening us. In desperation, I called the Collier County police for assistance. In the end, they intervened, managed to get him to apply the discount, and we paid in cash. During this entire ordeal, another group of four exiting the restaurant shared that they had faced a similar experience and were equally appalled. I feel it’s crucial to share this experience and warn everyone to steer clear of this establishment.

The hanger steak was tough, likely due to poor marination. The fettuccine with crab had barely any crab on it. The total cost was $84 for two people, which felt outrageous. A mixed drink was $12, a small glass of wine was $10, and the fettuccine itself was $20 just for the noodles. Seriously?

Restaurants can evoke strong opinions. I've encountered some individuals who have had less than satisfactory experiences with the service at Absinthe. However, the owners have made significant efforts to ensure that only friendly and attentive staff are on the floor. The food is absolutely exquisite, and they use only the freshest ingredients. The bar selection is unmatched—don't miss the muddled Cucumber Martini. Plus, with half-price entrées and drink coupons available, the prices are very reasonable. You won’t regret choosing this place!

Customer service is nonexistant. Worst waiters in the world. Nice atmosphere. Very expensive and small potions... The owner dosnt care about customers.

Worst service ever.... we went out to dinner ... we ordered a drink... 30 min later still no one came by to take our order or even talk to us.... stopped someone to ask for the bill.. They said it was on the house and shooed us away......AWESOME good thing sprite is filling. Left there and went to bricktops... Absinthe is a joke.
