Alberto's On Fifth Fine Italian

I have never written a review in my life. I would never go back to this restaurant again. The waiter was rude and food standards could be higher. I wanted to take my friends to Naples for a nice dinner. It did not happen. The kitchen was not prepared. The food was fair and service was slow.

I have visited Alberto's three times now, and each time the food has been consistently delicious. As someone who is Italian, I was excited to see that they offered the Frutti di Mare seafood salad, which is a traditional dish for me on Christmas Eve. Many places don't quite get it right, but Alberto's version was fresh and tasty. I opted for the seafood pasta dish, although I would have preferred calamari over mussels. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the meal overall. The tiramisu, made fresh daily, was light and not too sweet. I even had the pleasure of meeting Alberto himself at the bar, and he was a friendly and funny host.

The hostess was not very friendly, which created a negative atmosphere, and the food was decent, but not outstanding.

The food was fantastic and we had a great time with the entertainment.

The lobster was perfectly cooked, tender, and paired harmoniously with a medley of arugula, watermelon and citrus. The flavors danced on my palate, creating a symphony of taste that left me craving more. The Lobster-topped Tortellini were nothing short of perfection. The homemade pasta was a testament to the restaurant's commitment to quality, and the sweet corn and leeks filling was generously portioned and incredibly succulent. Each bite was a burst of flavor, and the accompanying sauce elevated the dish to new heights of culinary excellence. Beyond the outstanding cuisine, the ambiance of the restaurant transported me to Italy. The warm and welcoming atmosphere, coupled with attentive service, made the entire dining experience memorable. The staff's knowledge of the menu and their passion for the cuisine further enhanced the overall enjoyment of the meal.
