Giardino Gourmet Salads - Naples

Went today and met the owner. Super friendly place and they are very knowledge about our way of eating. Fresh and fast would be great descriptions. You can order a wrap or bowl. Then proceed through and pick grain base and plethora of vegables and legumes. They even have party bowls of you need to bring a dish to a party! Christopher Ambassador for Naples Florida

I like that you can create your own custom salad, wrap or grain bowl. They have many vegan salad toppings such as avocado, chickpeas, onions, bean sprouts, various nuts, many veggies, and you can also add rice, organic quinoa, tofu, or hummus. All salad dressings are marked vegan or not on the bottle. I believe the vegan salad dressings are berry vinaigrette, citrus cilantro vinaigrette, classic balsamic vinaigrette, plus fresh lemon, oils, vinegars, and soy sauce. I sometimes go here at night when other places are not open. By the way, if you do not see a specific salad topping then still just ask for it because some are just not in view.

The build your own bowl/wrap/salad was really good but nothing is marked vegan. Especially the dressing and when specifically asked if vegan/dairy free we got a “should be, I think”!! So they seem to be very vegetarian friendly but not vegan knowledgeable.

The salad was ok, good size, but I added grilled chicken to it and it looked more like canned chicken. that flavor and texture of canned chicken hurt the salad.Food: 3/5

My daughter and I have been frequenting Giardino’s here in Naples for about a year. It’s a go-to for us for lunch. Thursday 6/29 about 1p I placed an online order. On my way to pick up, my baby grandson fell asleep. And it started to rain. When I pulled up, I phoned the store. And the young man that picked up was so great! I explained my situation, he said ‘no problem, I’ll run it out’ and it was such a huge help! He went above and beyond! On another note, we had a Greek Salad and the El Caribe bowl and they were wonderful, as usual!
