It's also the perfect restaurant to educate Americans that most of our Italian restaurants at home serve subpar pasta. The place is unorthodox and reminiscent of eating at a hibachi or omakase restaurant. There are multiple tasting menus to choose from at different price points. We had the 60£ 5 course menu. It's fascinating to watch the chef cook in front of you with their amazing technique the preparation, timing, and plating are pure perfection and enjoyable. All the pasta is flavorful and cooked perfectly. It's a great cultural dining experience and worth the detour if you're in Napoli.
Very bad experience- we were not allowed to sit and eat, they sent us away! We went there at 19.30 and there were just 2 tables that were taken. After going around all day in pompeii we just wanted to eat something quick and go to our hotel ... but no! After sitting on one of the at least 8 free tables and waiting around 5 minutes we were told we had to go because theyre all booked out and its not possible to eat there without a reservation... okay, we went to the hotel, showered and went by 30-30 mins after. Still not full. After dinner also went around the place (its just next to our hotel) ... almost empty! Such a pitty that we didnt have the chance to try to food... but maybe it was for the best.
We had lunch here on the terrace, which was shadowed well (very useful in the hot July sun and heat). Excellent variety of tasteful (pasta) dishes! Maybe a little on the heavy side, but we got very good advice from the kind and helpful staff not to order too much.
Una grande aspettativa. Essendo con bambini abbiamo preferito pranzare fuori.Aspettativa delusa. La pasta era cotta e buttata nel sugo insapore. Nessuna mantecatura. Addirittura l'acqua di cottura che si formava nel piatto. Nemmeno la pasta al sugo era buona. Insipida... sembrava pomodoro senza condimento...Qualità prezzo prestazione sotto ogni aspettativa. Credo che sia stata la peggior parsta mangiata in un ristorante a Napoli.Peccato...
Ottimi i piatti di pasta, ben impostato e ricercati negli ingredienti anche innovativi. Complimenti alla bravura e simpatia del cuoco Giorgio. Personale gentile ed attento.
