I had the spaghetti with black truffle and garnel. it was absolutely amazing. the pasta was made fresh, the black truffles were real cut truffles, and the garnels were fresh and delicious. the best meal I have eaten in neapel. they also have fresh seafood they sell that I like to come back and try a day.
Great food, reasonably priced. Let’s just establish that I truly didn’t enjoy Naples; it’s dirty and dangerous. This was a sight for sore eyes, a nice escape from the city. Home bread was delicious, food was delicious. Small, neat portions. Staff mostly people from Bangladesh; friendly and polite!
The location of this restaurant is worth the detour, but certainly not their culinary offerings: the oysters were very good, but they were Gillardeau…and we went around a lot of raw and cooked shellfish as well as the fish of the day (sea bream) optionally in a salt crust/grilled or fried.. at 60€/kg, you are served a dry sea bream, tasteless, fries certainly not freshly made and a few lettuce leaves, which like the fries, aged… opt for pizza or pasta in Napoli instead!!
I stayed in Italy for 10 days, this was easily the worst place we ate at. Food was by far the worst. Got the salmon and sea bass. Sea bass had no flavor. Salmon was okay, but small. Prices were double what we paid anywhere else. Skip this place!
