When there for lunch on a quiet Thursday, I ordered the Satay Chicken with Rice which came portion sized which was nice. I then ordered some Fried Ice Cream (Ice Cream battered in Desiccated Coconut and deep fried, then covered with chocolate sauce, served with a Pineapple Ring at the bottom and cream)

Went to Bangkok House with a party of 14 with no reservations and we were accommodated very nicely. This place is very good for groups; the tables are set up for it. We had wontons to start which were fairly average and I didn't have high expectations of the rest of our meal because of it but I was pleasantly surprised. Everything else we ordered was delicious. The spicy squid in particular was exquisite. We ordered seconds for nearly everything. Highly recommended place.

I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves Thai food. I have tried many different Thai dishes, and would have to say I rate this as being one of the best Thai meals I have tried. Authentic flavours, very fresh, quality ingredients. The Thai beef salad was amazing!

Fantastic hosts and great menu, the meals are just the right size, tasty, reasonable and we also often come back here. We think it is the best thai in Napier and highly recommend it. Whether for lunch or a more formal feel for dinner this cosy restaurant does the job, plus the kids are comfortable and enjoy it here too.
