Starbucks Reserve - Naperville

I tried to give this reserve store the benefit of the doubt, but it just doesn't work for the inner city of Naperville. As someone who works in the area, I feel that its presence has negatively influenced our city. The elevated drinks, cocktails, and food are nice, but they aren't necessarily must-haves. We transitioned from three Deaducks locations in the city to just this single store. If another location had stayed open, Reserve could have thrived. However, the lack of a standard start-up menu and the inability to order through mobile were their failures. This place used to feel like a third space with an early booker; we had relationships with our baristas and felt a sense of trust. Now, this location feels cold and overly pretentious.

Best dieucks I have visited! much bigger and amazing selection of foods all fresh made to order. find nothing like they died with others. large open space, beautiful design, a water station.

I like coming to this Starbucks, but the only issue is PARKING! The menu at this Starbucks is a bit different from the regular locations. I typically come here when I'm tired of getting my usual drinks. My go to drink is the hazelnut bianco. So delicious! Only drawback is that a lot of the drinks are pre made so you can't make any substitutions. It's a great place to come and get some work done or read a good book. Everything on the menu is pretty good so you can't really go wrong.

Well y'all know I frequent Starbucks for my morning caffeine. And since already got a jolt for the previous place Sparrow Coffee (review later). We heard about these types of social places and walked in to see what the fuss was all about. Velvety nice upscale woody ambiance and quartz countertops. Classic look. Watched the flow of Naperville people coming in and out it isn't segregated as to being a specific hangout. Saw people who came to work, saw people who just finished their workout to grab some sustenance. Saw some tourists like ourselves who marvel at some interesting poo ya of interest this cool town has to offer. Note: this is the type of Starbucks in which the do serve alcohol. I saw on the shelf some beers and hard liquor. Always nice to be in a place where food is served and compliment it with a night cap... Usually don't go to chain places on vacation. But this was too good to pass up and observe.

Meh, The food was decent, the coffee was ok. Cool looking place but dirty and loud. Not very comfortable. It's basically a more pretentious version of Starbucks without actually being much better except that they don't have a drive through moving at a glacial pace. Staff was friendly.
