Mesón Sabika - Naperville

Went for a wedding. Food was delicious and atmosphere was perfect for a reception.

Why oh why has it been so long? My wife and I went to Meson Sabika for a birthday dinner last night. I forgot how exquisitely fantastic every single item is there. SO good. We completely indulged with six small plates. I had a drink (Spanish Manhattan — wow) and my wife had two, and we shared a dessert and it was $125. Incredible value! Food was excellent, service was outstanding. My only complaint about Meson Sabika is that they overcrowd their rooms. If I am paying $80 a person for a nice dinner, I prefer not be in a room where I can barely hear my companion. If I could make a recommendation to management it would be to slightly reduce capacity or put up something to dampen the sounds.

Service was great but the food was bad. It was cold and lacked flavor. Not authentic tapas, would not recommend. Try Emilio’s instead it’s much better.
