Przekaż informację zwrotnąJuicy-O is a huge spot serving down-home American breakfast and diner foods with a few labeled vegan options. That's a rarity in the suburbs of Chicago, so kudos to them for being so progressive. We got the vegan oatmeal pancakes $11) to start. I liked the flavor on these, but the texture was rubbery and gummy. The portion size is gigantic and I doubt anyone could finish the whole thing. The vegan salsa scrambler $12) really impressed us. I loved how they made the tofu really savory and addictive, with a nice dose of black beans and beautifully prepared roasted potatoes with green onion. This whole dish came together well, though the green salsa they provide tasted metallic. Fortunately, you don't need the salsa. The service is Midwestern-friendly and welcoming and they also serve you free mini donuts sadly, they're not vegan). Come to Juicy-O for the vegan salsa scrambler and a cup of coffee.
Was visiting friends in the Naperville area and we decided to try this place out for breakfast. It was the best decision we could make! They give you fresh homemade doughnuts to start and they were heavenly. So fresh with the perfect amount of sugar. I had the fruit crepe with strawberries, blueberries and peaches and it was amazing! I wasn't expecting so much but it's was a great amount. I couldn't finish it all. Lastly you have to order one of the juice blends instead of just orange juice. It was the perfect touch to a perfect breakfast. Definitely coming back the next time I'm in the area.
There service is not the best and they keep changing the drink we ordered and not giving us they drink we asked. Also the bathroom clearly doesn't have proper maintenance and was disgusting. However the food tasted fresh and the donuts they give in the beginning are extremely fresh and melt in your mouth. The artichoke omelette barely had flavor and was pretty bland without cholula hot sauce. The lemon blueberry ricotta pancakes were soft and fluffy and the sauce was amazing and was very light as well. The 2 stars are because the pancakes were delicious and the interior decorating is pretty funny since it has jokes all over the wall. But the bathroom was not clean and that makes me wonder what else isn't plus they messed up the drinks a lot.
Friendly service and the place looks nice. I purchased a Groupon deal so I treated my mom to brunch. We shared a build your own omelette it came with choice of items I chose buttermilk pancakes. Juicy-O which I didn 't know offers some fluffy light fried donuts as an appetizer very nice touch. The portion size were large plates. The platter of omelette with hash browns were enough to share and I wasn 't able to finish. the half I had to eat. It tasted like standard breakfast diner food. I didn 't care for the potatoes the pancakes were huge and tasted good. Friendly and well attentive service. Groupon was good fair deal.
I'd come back for the unlimited warm mini donuts. Humorous environment, busy waiters. the house coffee was 3/5 but their specialty drinks look great. the portions are huge and the ingredients taste fresh. the overall taste of the dish is above average, not amazing but not bad enough to not come again. It's a good feeling when you sit inside and take a bite into the little donuts. The lemon blueberry pancakes were light. The lemon tasted like watered down frosting with blueberries on top. The omelette tasted better with cholula, salt pepper . Jimmy potatoes were good with ketchup. but omelette had very fresh ingredients. I know it's not the best food, but it's a nice cozy experience. I was told the skillets are better than omelette. So I would come back to try that next time.
