Daves Hot Chicken - Naperville

Pros: Great seasoning. Slider was cooked perfectly. Medium was a medium heat unlike places that are hot such as Port or Peri, for example. Cons: small portion for $15. Where?s the cheese? Looks like melted cheese was spread thin with a butter knife. Doesn?t look anything like the pictures they advertise on their menu. Small portion. Tenders were tiny. Slider is small. An average person with a decent appetite wouldn?t be satisfied. Chicken tender was dry, not horrible. Slider was better. Overall, Definitely give it a try as a lunch and not a last minute quick dinner.

We are originally from TN. We?ve been constantly forgetting that this place exists today was our first time. Look it?s good. I can?t deny that. I was wondering why it wasn?t more busy as it was dinner time. Now I get it we ordered #3 which is a slider and a tender. Order was messed up at first, no big deal. We got out slider tender and additional tender. It was fresh and crispy but they clearly left the bread out because it was almost like toast it was so dry. Every component is important, no matter how small. Like I said, it?s tasty but the prices are nuts. For the number #3 and one additional tender was $20. Came with fries, no drink and dry bread. All in all it was good. Nothing as good as Nashville but I?d say give it a try if you have money to burn.

Some like it spicy! This restaurant was fantastic! We ordered two meals: the tender meal and the slider meal. The slider meal was our favorite! The portion size was just right, with a generous piece of chicken on the slider. The sauce was absolutely divine, and the slaw and pickles complemented it perfectly! Everything was incredibly delicious! The tender meal was great as well, featuring two large, thick pieces of white meat chicken. We loved our experience and will definitely return when we're in the area! My kids would enjoy this place too, so I'm planning to take them for some spicy tenders next. I'm excited! I shared this restaurant on my Facebook, and everyone was asking where it is, so I've definitely spread the word about Dave's Hot Chicken!

This restaurant is quite impressive. The food tastes just like the one in LA, and the service was excellent. Our meal arrived on time, and the staff was friendly and eager to explain the menu to us. The only downside was that our table was a bit sticky, so they could improve on cleanliness. Overall, this location holds its own against others in the area. I highly recommend trying the hot flavor paired with honey; it’s the perfect combination. Additionally, they were generous enough to provide us with water cups. Even with a long line that stretched out the door, they managed to take everyone’s orders efficiently.

I had a great dining experience here. I ordered online and picked up my food in-store, but when I arrived, the place was bustling with barely any space to stand, and there were a few people ahead of me in line to order. I opted for the two-tender meal with mac and cheese. The macaroni and cheese was tasty, though it could have been a bit less watery. The chicken tenders were cooked perfectly and remained juicy on the inside. I appreciated the option to choose different spice levels for each strip in my order. I got one Extra Hot and one Reaper Hot. The Reaper definitely packed more heat than the Extra Hot, but it was a different experience. The Extra Hot had a strong cayenne pepper flavor, delivering an upfront spicy kick to the chicken, which I would rate around 7/10. In contrast, the Reaper seemed to include Carolina Reaper powder, resulting in a slower buildup of heat. This one was notably hotter than the Extra Hot, earning a rating of about 8-8.5/10. It was really good, and I would love to return again.
