Empress M - Napa

Our experience was Average. The food was overpriced and tasted okay but not great. Small portions, simple flavors and seasonings. This place is for the inexperienced Chinese restaurant customer. We went during Restaurant Week but probably won't return.

The chicken Chow Mein came with hardly any vegetables and with some slightly undercooked chicken. The iron plate chicken came with a large amount of undercooked chicken. Service was down to one server for the entire restaurant. My glass of wine was the Empress M pinot at $24/glass. It was a very cheap wine and deeply disappointing. The total meal cost was $136 for 2. Never again.

Placed on-line order for Xmas Eve, they charged Credit Card; I got confirmation of pick up time, got there and place closed up tight ... no idea what the happened, but obviously they are not dependable or competent.

First I came here for the dim sum opportunity but ended up getting Peking duck and curry sea bass both were absolutely delicious. I can't believe I at the whole thing. I also ate som shu mai and haw gow and they we good too. Yummy food.Rainy day and enjoying this place with its delicious food, good customer service, the curry is delicious, the dumplings are exquisite. Siestas in Napa looking for a good place to eat, I recommend this place.

They went back to their original packaging! Yay!! Staff is very friendly, the food is very good.
