We had lunch here today and were seated right away. The staff provided us with menus and our drinks arrived quickly. Although there was a bit of a wait before our food order was taken—despite informing them we needed to be in Chester later that afternoon—the food was served promptly and was absolutely delicious. Our dessert arrived almost immediately after we finished our main courses, which was a delightful surprise. This place is definitely worth a visit just for that! The staff were very kind as well.

What a little gem of a restaurant! They have a wonderful selection of dishes. Make sure to enjoy them quickly. I visited on Thursday afternoon, and the service was great. The pedigree and goblin ales were absolutely perfect, and the cellar is well-maintained. It’s a true delight during these challenging times. Thank you!

The interior was stunning, and the staff were very friendly. The menu had a wide variety of options, although it wasn't extraordinary; however, it catered to everyone's tastes, including vegans and older guests in our group. The quality of the food and service was exceptional, and everything was delivered promptly.
