Humpty's Restaurants - Nanton

I went to this restaurant for lunch on Sunday and had a disappointing experience. Despite there being 2 empty tables, it took 10 minutes to sit down. Once seated, we were not offered any drinks and there was no mention of any specials. After waiting for 15 minutes without being attended to, we decided to leave. The server saw us as we walked past but did not say anything, not even an apology. The table felt dirty and the floor sounded like it hadn't been properly cleaned. Overall, I was very disappointed and won't be returning.

I ordered a salad and soup at this restaurant, but was disappointed with the quality. The salad arrived warm and wilted, and the cheese was still frozen. When I asked the waitress about the soup, she couldn't give me a recommendation and simply said she wouldn't suggest it. My daughter's meatballs and spaghetti had hard noodles, and my husband's hamburger was also tough. It seems like they don't care about bad reviews, as there aren't many dining options in this city. While I don't expect gourmet food at a truck stop, I wouldn't recommend this place for a quick bite on the way to Tim Hortons.

My husband wanted soup and the restaurant had a special for chicken soup. The soup seemed to be from a can and the portion for the large size was disappointingly small. The toast we ordered was almost $2.00 each, which was not worth it for a special. We wish we had gone to Tim Horton instead. My vegetable order came with meat and bacon, which was not what I expected for the price of $30 for the whole order. We were left unsatisfied as we were not even offered coffee, another drink, or anything else. Overall, we were very disappointed and should have left the restaurant.

I visit this place quite often when I go through. It has a good basic service, good food and good prices. The music was a little loud, but the songs were great.

We stoped in the Humptys in Nanton this morning for lunch. The condiments on the plate were dried out, The service was good but food not so good. There was a fly buzzing around.
