Waterfront Confections - Nanaimo

I thought I didn't like Nanaimo bars. I just didn't have one of Waterfront Confections. I lived that this tiny place on the harbour front Walkway had such an stellar example of the renowned local dessert! My friend had the Nanaimo Bar ice and... loved it too. You have half a bar option that is so smart considering how sweet Nanaimo bars are. A great way to do this necessary tourist thing. You can then go on the beautiful harbor front with your top notch contest!

You can certainly not the stunning location of this place, right on the side of Nanaimo's wonderful marina, and certainly the service of the young lady behind the counter is friendly and fantastic. My biggest problem was not with the price that is as high as you would expect at this point, but with the ice itself. Tiramisu literally had no recognizable taste. It could have been milk chocolate or coffee or something else. I'm an ice cream freak, so for me throwing away the last half of the ice cone really talks how tasteless and disappointing this ice was!

Nanaimo's Waterfront charm is all sweeter for this little candy and ice cream shop whose wars contain homemade ice cream, which is like no one I have ever experienced. If you love a Nanaimo Bar (and if you've never had one, you'll miss a taste of...heaven She for her Nanaimo Bar ice cream. MY Favorite was the black licorice ice cream (produced, I say, for a customer who simply insists on it! and waffles are not an additional fee. Don't miss Waterfront Confections. It is a true taste of summer time sky.

We all just got out with our double and triple creatures when we were hit by a television team. What do you like about the port front? It's all nice, we answered. Is it a good day for ice? he asked. We answered:...It is ALWAYS a good day for ice! It is certainly worth the stop in this store. And we DID watch the news this night.

The ice cream here is high quality and made in house. I had the coconut and root beer flavors and enjoyed both very much. The variety of flavors is a bonus setting them above the shop on Commercial St. They are the best ice cream...shop in Nanaimo.
